How can we help?

Our specialist practice

Rury i Słupy

A gas pipeline, power line or electricity pylon on your land in Poland?

Rury i Słupy is the branch of Centrum Informacji Prawnej dedicated to property owners affected by utility infrastructure. It has its own website focused on this area of practice.

  • Review of property documents and circumstances
  • Utility easement matters
  • Assessment of potential remuneration and compensation claims
  • Negotiations with utility operators and support in proceedings

We begin by discussing your property and what you want to achieve. After reviewing the information, we explain the available options and terms of engagement. Representation in Polish courts is provided by authorised advocates or legal advisers.

Support in Poland and the UK

PL

Matters in Poland

Business, civil, criminal and family matters under Polish law. Representation in Polish courts is provided by appropriately authorised advocates or legal advisers, depending on the proceedings and authority granted.

UK

Support in the UK

In the UK we provide advisory and administrative support within the scope that does not require specific professional authorisation. Activities reserved by law are carried out only by appropriately authorised providers in the relevant jurisdiction. Where a matter requires this service, we arrange its referral to one of our cooperating law firms, in agreement with the client, and coordinate the transfer of documents. We distinguish England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The cooperating firm’s scope, responsibility and fees are agreed separately. We do not provide regulated immigration advice.

We start with an honest conversation.

First

We listen to your story

Tell us what happened, what matters most and what help you expect. You do not need to know legal terms or procedures.

Second

We explain the options

Once we have enough information, we explain how we can help, the steps we propose and any relevant limits.

Third

We agree scope and costs

Before work begins, we explain the proposed scope and indicative costs, agree communication and identify the next step. You decide whether to instruct us.

Before we speak

Can you help with Polish matters while I live abroad?

Many steps can be prepared remotely. Powers of attorney and personal attendance depend on the individual matter.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We explain options and risks; the relevant authorities decide the outcome.

Are ADP and LCWRA the same?

No. ADP is a Scottish benefit. LCWRA is a determination within Universal Credit about limited capability for work and work-related activity.
